Clients Terms & Conditions

We are devoted to make your experience with us a positive, transparent and unforgettable one as much as possible! We highly encourage you to review the following terms and conditions before confirming your booking. By confirming your booking(s) of our services, you acknowledge the following terms and conditions and hence understand and agree to abide and adhere to them.

BOOKING CONFIRMATION & FINAL PAYMENT

To confirm your booking, a 50% deposit will be need to be made to Makeup Doyennes LLP within 48 hours from when the invoice is sent out. Payments can be made via any of the payment modes listed in the next section. For short notice bookings which are made 5 days or less before the service date, full payment would be required for booking confirmation.

Postponements / transfer of booking can be made at no additional charges but, it will be subjected to our Makeup Artists availability for the new date and time. Deposits / payments are non-refundable for any cancellations hence, postponements / transfer of booking are highly encouraged.

The remaining balance will be due 1 day before the services are rendered.

If, for any reason, the deposit and final payments are not made by the stipulated deadline, Makeup Doyennes reserves the right to cancel the booking made and/or charge an additional 5% of the total amount per day on all overdue invoices.

Should our Makeup Artist(s) is not able to fulfill the job due to unforeseen circumstances, Makeup Doyennes will either appoint another equally qualified Makeup Artist(s) for the job or refund the deposit fully back to the Client.

PAYMENT

Modes of payment accepted are:

Bank Transfer via PayNow / Internet Banking

GrabPay (Our Merchant QR Code will be sent to you separately.)

TRANSPORTATION & OTHER SURCHARGE FEES

Parking fees exceeding $5 are to be borne by Client for our Makeup Artists who drive.

Morning surcharge fees are applicable based on the Start Time in the following:

7am to 8am: $50 per Makeup Artist
Earlier than 7am: $100 per Makeup Artist

Location surcharge fees are applicable for the following venues:

Tuas / Sentosa: $50 per Makeup Artist

PHOTO / VIDEO TAKING & USAGE

Makeup Doyennes and our Makeup Artist(s) will be allowed to take before and after photos and videos to use for portfolio, promotional advertising purposes and any makeup teaching materials on www.makeupdoyennes.com.sg, social media, on other media platforms and offline unless expressly stated via writing. Following the event, Client agrees to provide Makeup Doyennes with a copy of professional photos taken of Client and additional party members to use for promotional, display, publication, advertising or other business purposes.

MAKEUP DOYENNES PARTNERS ENGAGEMENT

Client agree to all terms & conditions required of Makeup Doyennes Partners (i.e. photographers, videographers and other vendors) when engaging their services through Makeup Doyennes. Any photos or video rights ownership transfers are subjected to each partners' terms and will be released to you when full payment is made. Client agree that all final photos and/or videos by our partners will be allowed Makeup Doyennes to use for promotional, display, publication, advertising or other business purposes. Makeup Doyennes will not be held responsible for any disputes that may arise between client and partners.

SKIN SENSITIVITIES & ALLERGIES

Client will need to inform Makeup Doyennes any pre-existing skin conditions, sensitivities and/or allergies to any types of makeup, hair products, skincare products, and / or treatments. We will do the best we can to avoid using any products / treatments that have been highlighted.

Makeup Doyennes and our Makeup Artists will not be liable for any skin reactions developed as a result of the makeup application / hair styling that may occur to Client.

HEALTH DECLARATION & COVID-19 MEASURES

Client will need to inform Makeup Doyennes of any health conditions that our Makeup Artists will need to take note of and any triggers that might cause complications so that we can take precaution measures accordingly.

Makeup Doyennes and our Makeup Artists will not be liable for any medical or health complications developed as a result of the makeup application / hair styling that may occur to Client.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Client MUST ensure that they are negative in COVID-19 and are in good health & fit to go through our service. Should Client be detected as COVID-19 positive before and/or after our service, Client MUST inform Makeup Doyennes representatives immediately as soon as possible so that we can take the necessary measures required by the authorities. Postponements of bookings due to a positive COVID-19 detection can be made with no additional charges.

However, should Client choose to withhold information of a positive COVID-19 detection from Makeup Doyennes before the service commences and our Makeup Artists proceeded with the service without knowledge & timely notification of the detection, we WILL take serious legal actions and seek compensations for the inconveniences caused and for putting our Makeup Artists health at risk. Compensation will include (but not exhaustive) of 500% of the full service cost that was booked for, full medical costs incurred, lost opportunity costs, costs required for recovery, any costs or damages incurred from affecting other people due to the withhold of information and etc.

We encourage all clients to take this clause seriously to ensure a safe community and environment. All our Makeup Artists will perform their due diligence in ensuring a safe experience for your makeup and hairstyling session with us.

Makeup Doyennes LLP reserves the right to make amendments to any of the above Terms & Conditions.

Vendor Partnership / Collaboration / Service Sponsorship Terms & Conditions

We always welcome partnerships and collaborations from vendors that helms high quality service and craft which can help enhance our clients' experience together. We are also open to sponsoring our service to projects that create meaning and/or collaborative creativity. We highly encourage all vendors to review the following terms and conditions before collaborating with us. By collaborating and/or partnering and/or entering a sponsorship with us, you acknowledge the following terms and conditions and hence understand and agree to abide and adhere to them. This terms and conditions is stated here for full transparency to our clients as well on how we work together with our partners.

BOOKING ACCEPTANCE FROM MAKEUP DOYENNES

By accepting the booking for your service from Makeup Doyennes for Makeup Doyennes Client(s), Vendor agree that they will honour their services dutifully as stated on the billing invoice. Any additional terms & conditions that Client(s) need to be aware of will need to be made known to Makeup Doyennes representatives before the acceptance of booking.

As postponements / transfer of booking are allowed in Makeup Doyennes, Vendors are to make sure that any postponements / transfer of booking charges are to be communicated in advance before acceptance of booking otherwise, no compensations will be made should any postponements / transfer of booking be required by Client(s).

Payments will be made to Vendor from Makeup Doyennes within 2 weeks upon receipt of payment from Client(s).

Should Vendor is not able to fulfill the job due to unforeseen circumstances, Vendor is to either appoint another equally qualified staff or partner for the job or refund the deposit fully back to Makeup Doyennes.

Makeup Doyennes will not be held responsible for any disputes that may arise between Vendor and Client(s).

PHOTO / VIDEO TAKING & USAGE

Vendors (such as Photographers, Videographers and other vendors), who collaborate with Makeup Doyennes or any of our Makeup Artists for both past and future paid and/or sponsored / TFP projects, agree to send Makeup Doyennes the final professional photos and/or videos and grant Makeup Doyennes the rights to use the photos and/or videos taken at no cost for portfolio, promotional, advertising and any teaching materials on www.makeupdoyennes.com.sg, social media, on other media platforms and offline for Makeup Doyennes services unless otherwise stated via writing.

For Sponsored / TFP projects, should the photos and/or videos be not delivered to Makeup Doyennes or not allowed to be used by Makeup Doyennes for the above business purposes stated in the previous paragraph without valid reasons and/or notification before commencement of work, Makeup Doyennes reserves the right to charge Vendors the full rate for the service that was rendered and an additional 5% of the total amount per day should there be any delay in payment.

Works produced with our service involved are NOT to be used to promote for any illegal, pornographic or discriminating activities, Makeup Doyennes reserves the right to terminate the partnership with immediate effect and sought for damages compensation from Vendors.

All photos and/or videos used are to be credited appropriately by Makeup Doyennes and all the respective vendors for the work done wherever possible in respect of all parties' the time and effort put into the creating the work.
